Building on Our Foundations.

Advanced IFS-Informed Therapeutic Training, limited to 18 participants.

Building on Our Foundations is a five-day, in-person advanced training for practitioners who have completed the OneSelf Institute Foundation Training (2025/26), an IFS Institute Level 1 or Stepping Stones programme, or another equivalent IFS-informed foundation training.

Created for therapists, coaches, and other helping professionals wishing to deepen both their understanding and embodiment of Internal Family Systems, this highly experiential programme blends teaching, live demonstrations, experiential exercises, and supervised practice in small groups.

Together, we will explore more nuanced and complex therapeutic work within the IFS model, including working with persistent protectors and inner critics, navigating entrenched polarisations, and deepening the art of unburdening. Along the way, you will be introduced to additional IFS-informed tools and protocols that support increasingly complex clinical work, while developing greater confidence, clarity, and flexibility in your own practice.

The focus throughout is on integrating knowledge through direct experience, allowing what you learn to become something you can naturally embody in your therapeutic work. As with all my trainings, the emphasis is not simply on learning new techniques, but on deepening your therapeutic presence, strengthening your capacity to trust the process, and cultivating an increasingly Self-led way of working.

Whether you work with individuals, couples, or groups, this training offers the opportunity to consolidate your foundations, refine your clinical skills, and continue growing in confidence, depth, and authenticity as an IFS-informed practitioner.

Further details of the programme will be shared following your application.

I feel more confident in holding space for clients and allowing their parts to emerge in their own time. The training has helped me trust the process more, especially the power of presence, patience, and gentle noticing.
