IFS-informed Training · UK and Europe

Foundation Training.

February to May 2027.

Blending clear teaching, immersive experiential learning, and supportive small-group practice, this twelve-day, in-person Foundation Training is designed to help you deeply embody the principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS), not only in your therapeutic work, but also in your relationship with yourself.

Across four carefully structured modules, you will be introduced to the core philosophy, language, and practice of IFS through a rich combination of teaching, live demonstrations, experiential exercises, and supervised practice. The emphasis is on integrating knowledge through lived experience, allowing learning to unfold naturally and deeply.

Our next Foundation Training begins in February 2027 and is intentionally limited to just 15 participants, creating a warm, personal learning environment where everyone is seen, supported, and encouraged to grow.

The programme is led by Christiane Churchill-Ley and a team of five experienced IFS practitioners, who bring extensive clinical expertise, compassion, and dedication to the learning journey. Together, they create an environment that is both professionally grounded and personally transformative, characterised by warmth, humour, depth, and genuine care for each participant’s individual process.

The intention is not simply to understand the IFS model intellectually, but to begin living it, so that your presence becomes as healing as the methods you use.

By the end of the training, you will have a solid grounding in the principles and practice of IFS, greater confidence in applying the model, and a deeper relationship with your own inner system, providing a strong foundation for integrating an IFS-informed approach into your professional work.

The foundation and scaffolding of this methodology is so clear now. I feel more connected to my own parts, and I am learning how my lived experience has formed many of my behaviours.
